The Wine Academy, Class 2 - The Magic of French Wines

Taught in an intimate and engaging atmosphere where you are encouraged to share your impressions and ask questions, Sommelier Ray Grimes will take you on a tour of the four largest wine producing regions in France: Champagne, Bordeaux, Burgundy, and Rhone.

Ray will address the different types of wine and how they're made as you explore the brilliant wines that he has hand selected. Wines will be a Champagne, Bordeaux Blend with Noble Varietals, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon Blend, A Burgundy Pinot Noir, Rhone Red Blend and a Sauterne.

Light palate cleansers will be presented during your class to assist as you further explore the nuances of that afternoon's wines. Please note that our Chef will not be present and the ability to order food will not be available. 

The average class time will be approximately 2 hours and there will be an additional hour after class to purchase and enjoy the wines by the glass or by the bottle at a Wine Academy only, reduced price. Bottles will also be available to purchase to take home with our guests.

Seating will be limited to 20 guests.
